Evensong

The service of Choral Evensong taken from the Book of Common Prayer is a common feature of the regular worship of many Anglican churches, chapels and Cathedrals. At St George’s we are delighted to offer this traditional service on a monthly basis with the music led by our Director of Music and Choir. The rhythm of this liturgy provides a peaceful space in which to experience the glory of God and reflect upon the activities of the week ahead. Evensong is also offered with Benediction on occasion to mark high days and holy days.

Choral Evensong takes place on the 1st Sunday of each month at 4.00pm.
